Northern Beaches Gymnastics Academy was founded in 2021, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as Kids Sports On The Beaches was created by three passionate individuals — Rebecca, Rylee, and Alexa — who each progressed through the gymnastics pathway from athlete to coach to leadership and eventually, business ownership.

When lockdowns hit and indoor sport was no longer possible, they adapted quickly — running outdoor private lessons, launching childcare-based programs, and even setting up a marquee to keep kids active and engaged. These early challenges shaped a flexible, community-focused approach that still defines the club today.
As the programs grew, so did the vision: to offer high-quality, progressive gymnastics in a positive, inclusive space where every child is supported to thrive. NBGA’s focus goes beyond skills — aiming to build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love for movement.

Today, Northern Beaches Gymnastics Academy is proud to serve hundreds of families, delivering programs for all ages and abilities. What started in uncertain times has become a trusted hub for growth, connection, and opportunity — with leadership that’s grounded in real experience, from the mat to the management.
